The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in driving the growth of the business by identifying, qualifying, and generating new business opportunities for excelerated. This role involves prospecting potential clients, building relationships, and setting up meetings for the sales team to close deals. The BDR acts as the first point of contact between the company and prospective clients.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

·       Identify and research potential clients and key decision-makers in target markets.

·       Use various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking to generate leads.

·       Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.

  1. Outreach & Engagement

·       Initiate contact with prospects through personalized communication strategies.

·       Engage in meaningful conversations to understand client needs, challenges, and business goals.

·       Build rapport and establish trust to position the company as a valuable partner.

  1. Qualification

·       Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure they align with the company’s ideal customer profile.

·       Use tools like CRM systems to log and analyze lead activity and interactions.

·       Schedule and coordinate meetings or demos with the sales team.

  1. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing

·       Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on target audiences, outreach strategies, and handoff processes.

·       Provide feedback to marketing on campaign performance and lead quality.

·       Collaborate on strategies to improve prospecting efforts and conversion rates.

  1. Performance Tracking

·       Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), such as call volumes, email outreach, and qualified leads generated.

·       Prepare and present regular reports on lead generation and conversion metrics.
