Job description

As Managing Consultant you will have ownership for directing clients to improve their finance, supply chain and procurement functions through advisory, implementation and support activities with a focus on leveraging both SAP and Non SAP based technologies. You will play a leading role in driving Procurement Transformation enabled by technology with the aim to successfully deliver and implement projects within the agreed scope to the highest level of quality. You will often be leading a team of both advisors and consultants as part of a clients Transformation program from business case through to adoption. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and assigning activities to your project team as well as engaging with senior stakeholders.

Job requirements

  • Act as a client side advisor during the business case and advisory phase then transitioning to the overall programme lead and ensure project deliverables are executed on time and to budget
  • Lead the growth of our Procurement Advisory practice from both a Sales and Delivery perspective
  • Review clients current state in terms of process, technology, people, operating model and value delivery and provide external benchmarking and insight
  • Prepare and deliver presentations during both pre sales and project delivery to support the engagement and workshops with clients
  • Work effectively with senior stakeholders and project team up to c-suite level
  • Maintain Source to Pay application knowledge and deployment best practice
  • Direct and assign project task to team members and providing ongoing support through coaching, mentoring
  • Effectively transfer advisory insights and deliverables through to deployment e.g. design and configuration knowledge to team members and provide ‘Best Business Practice’ knowledge to aid in the design process
  • Lead any Procurement Advisory Sales cycles and support the sales team with presales activities including workshops, benchmarking, phase 0, RFP responses and transformation discovery workshops
